As Managing Director of Operations and Pricing, Mr. Mejia is responsible for financial reporting, due diligence, and the origination and execution of financing transactions for both healthy and distressed life settlement portfolios. Prior to Preston, Mr. Mejia was a financial services partner at RSM US LLP where he served specialty finance lenders, reverse mortgage banks, and real estate investment funds. Prior to RSM, Mr. Mejia served as executive vice president at NorthStar Life Services, and Director of Finance at Pacifica Group LLC. Mr. Mejia began his career in RSM’s audit practice for seven years before transferring to the firm’s middle market investment banking team, where he provided M&A advisory services to both publicly traded and privately held companies in the financial services sector. Mr. Majia holds an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of San Diego. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
